Description
In Indiana, covered bridges are restored, appreciated, and used as a place where people go to relive the past and celebrate history of the commerce and individuals that passed over and through these magnificent structures. One of the most iconic is Potter’s Bridge in the Hamilton County seat, Noblesville. White River, the largest and most historically significant river in the state and a watershed for one-third of Indiana, passes under this covered bridge. Today, Potter’s Bridge and the surrounding land have been made into a public park where people go to picnic, jog, take pictures, study old bridge architecture.
