Description
This artist lives just behind the trees on the left side of this artwork. This is the White River and it is the most important river in Indiana. It is a watershed for over one third of all of the state. It is a home to Herons, Hawks, and even Eagles. And it runs through the countryside, farm land, towns and cities. Teddy Roosevelt and the Czar of Russia came here to catch the famous small mouth river bass who thrive in these waters. Huge tree limbs loom over the banks and water to provide a beautiful view and cooler air. The river is great for sport fishing, canoeing, tubing, picnics and, as you might have guessed, White River provides unlimited views of beauty available for the artist to paint, draw, or photograph.
