This is a front view of one of four mixed media paintings of the 1989 24 Hours of Daytona winning Porsche 962 driven by Derek Bell, Bob Wollek, and Maria Andretti. Major sponsors of this car were BF Goodrich and Miller High Life. The 27th annual running of this race was sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). The artist, Richard Parker, was also a professional road racer. He had SCCA Pro and IMSA licenses and raced in Formula Mazda where he won 4 races competing at some of the most famous courses in the U.S.
